City Sonic is first and well known for its sound itinerary made of installations, environments, site specific works and lounge, in the centre of Mons starting  Salle Saint-Georges  (Grand'Place, next to the City Hall) where you will receive a guide of the festival (and its
parner Cap Sonic). Then you'll discover the installations at the entrance of the BAM and in the historical garden behind the museum, go back to the Grand Place towards the Mediatheque and then down again to the Maison Folie where you can discover many installations; walk 10
minutes to the Machine à Eau (Water machine) , Boulevard Dolez, with among others, a great installation of Hans-Peter Khun in the main space ) and finally you'll arrive on the Site des Abattoirs (rue de la Trouille) to visit the Grand Halle and the exhibition on the "sound-object".

The visit lasts between 1 and a half and 2 hours or more according to your level of attention; the entrance is free and the City Sonic wardens can indicate you how the works function if necessary.
