Raphaël Maze‘s work belongs to a dream-like representation of chaos. Images taken from journeys are transformed into signs, lines and graphic constructions of which the crackling succession intensifies the poetical charge even more. The continual alternation between internal organic and urban political is magnified by an edit resembling that of structural film which uses the black and white of different formats (HD, Super 8) following a frenetic rhythm.
