Me, my English and all the languages of my life
Having lived a nomadic life traveling, living and working around the world, Anna Raimondo reflects on her relationships with the different languages of her life: Italian, Spanish, French, and English. At the same time, she attends a phonetic course to learn how to speak with a British accent. Caught somewhere between ridicule and seriousness, hesitation and encouragement, Anna’s exploration invites listeners into a sonic soup of languages.

Anna Raimondo
Anna Raimondo was born in Italy and currently lives in Brussels. Her works, articulated as voice, language and sonic ambulation, lie in between sound and radio art, installation and urban intervention. Her radiophonic/broadcasting works are broadcasted internationally, including Deutschlandradio Kultu (Germany), Arte Radio, (France) and Rai (Italy).
ACSR - Atelier de Création Sonore Radiophonique
L’ACSR est une structure d’accueil pour la création sonore radiophonique.
L’association a été créée en 1996 dans le but de développer un espace de réflexion et de résistance à la diminution alarmante de la création dans les instituts de radiodiffusion en Belgique francophone.
Structure d’accueil aux auteurs, réalisateurs, opérateurs, créateurs intéressés par la radio, elle met à disposition de ceux-ci des moyens techniques et financiers ainsi qu’un accompagnement artistique (une aide à l’écriture du projet, des écoutes de travail aux différentes phases de réalisation), une aide à la production et à la diffusion.
L’acsr reçoit le soutien du Fond d’Aide à la Création Radiophonique de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
