Two new sound pieces created by Margarida Guia (performer and sound artist) from workshops with the participation of residents of Carrosse (an institution that welcomes persons with mental disabilities) and participants of a workshop dealing with transgenerational inhabitants from Saint-Ghislain (in collaboration with Emilien Baudelot), inviting them to express their urban context.

Margarida Guia (Brussels) is an actress, performer, and sound designer. She explores words as a partition, voice as an instrument which experiments in different musical worlds ranging from improvisational music to sound poetry.
She plays with musicians (including guitarist Serge Teyssot-Gay / ex Noir Désir, the trombonist Annie Whitehead or the electronic musician Gauthier Keyaerts) met at random, while presenting a “Solo” surrounded with accessories: music boxes, radios, melodica, metronome, sampler, megaphone mingled with urban environments.
For fifteen years, she has given workshops on body and voice (theater, reading, sound poetry) with cultural organizations, adult training centers, libraries, where she is invited to participate in various seminars on reading aloud.
