Audiomatter (2000 Shades of Grey) (première belge)
This installation composed of an audiometer and an amplifier, aims to distribute a static frequency in relation to its environment. The focus is on the contemplation of the sound, the saturation of the acoustic space, and contributes to the feeling of immersion. The main purpose is to place the listener at the center of the sound itself in order to fully experience its spatial properties.

Pour le vernissage de cette édition, Julien Grosjean, Elsa Welfelè, Simon Deterne, Johana Beaussart proposerons une performance dans dans leurs dispositifs audio plastiques respectifs.
Nom de l'artiste
Much of the artistic and musical work of Simon Deterne focuses on the concept of monochrome, more or less, colored static noises. His various projects maintain a strong relationship with the noise and minimalist culture. His research revolving around monochromatic sound_ takes the form of installations and online editions in progress, put on a Bandcamp site.
Simon Deterne also handles the netlabel archives and sound creations LABEL+ and is co-founder / programmer of ODC, an underground concert cellar based in Bourges (France). The rest of the time he works as a record dealer with the La Caravane, a mobile music store that offers a wide range of experimental music.
