It is about personal and material memory, archival preservation and dissolution. It features time- lapse macro-photography of photographic negatives being chemically destroyed.

Grayson Cooke

Grayson Cooke is an interdisciplinary scholar and media artist, Associate Professor of Media in the School of Arts and Social Sciences at Southern Cross University. He holds an interdisciplinary PhD from Concordia University in Montreal. Grayson is an award-winning media artist, who has exhibited and performed media art works across Europe, Australia, Asia and North America: National Art Centre Tokyo, Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart, Australian Museum in Sydney, WRO Media Art Biennale in Wroclaw, FILE International Festival of Electronic Language in Sao Paulo, and the Menzies Centre for Australian Studies at Kings College, London.

As a scholar, he has published academic articles in major journals such as Convergence, Body and Society, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, and Culture Machine. He has written on numerous topics including new media, human- machine relations, the face and the archive.
