Simon Dumas

Simon Dumas (Quebec) is an undisciplined writer and artist : poet, producer of literary performances and sometimes performer. He published five books of poetry, La Chute was slow, endless and then finished with La Peuplade, which was nominated for the Alain-Grandbois prize of the Académie des lettres du Québec in 2009. The fourth and fifth books, Mélanie and Révélations, was published in 2013 and 2016 in French editions. In 2000, he co-founded Rhizome, an organization whose produce literary performances and he is now the artistic director. He has also several personal projects including shows, installations and a short films.
