The sound and the image of a purring cat (very enlarged) produce a doubt in the spectator’s mind. It is somewhere between appeasement, a sense of well-being and anguish, as a result of this sound composition made solely of purrs.

This video has a personal livid, teeth grinding event at its birth. Helga DeJaegher challenges the spectator on life, stress, time, and death, all the while creating a slight sonic discomfort.
