Between the lights
This video is not a documentary, nor is it a portrait of the artist and musician Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), but rather a research about ways to use him as the main storyline through the director’s cinematic language. During Lee Ranaldo’s visit to Belgium, Jean De Lacoste wanted to film him with more of a distance, to obtain a sense of temporality as is comparable to the filming of a concert.
