This soundscape dialogue with the exhibition Le Grand Large – Territory of Thought (with Peter Downsbrough’s lithographs and flags, Jean-Marc Bustamante, Charley Case, François Curlet, Michel François, Lawrence Weiner, Edith Dekyndt, Jean-François Octave, Angel Vergara, …).
This time, sounds become images and are broadcast on the terrace of the shop.

Performance AV Le Grand Large (performance - premier)
For the closing of the visual arts exhibition Le Grand Large – Territory of Thought (organised by Bruno Robbe editions and Daniel Dutrieux), Jean DL (experimental guitar) & Sandrine Verstraete (tsonic treatments) present a performance that will mix music and video echoing with flags and prints presented in this exhibition.
Jean D. L. + Sandrine Verstraete
Jean DL & Sandrine Verstraete (Be) are both filmmakers and musicians; they develop a melancholic and cinematic universe. Through manipulation of audio cassettes and guitar, they accompany their images in both dark and sweet in a no mans land.
Their debut album is available from Rockerill Records in September 2015 with the participation of Belgian photographer Dirk Braeckman.
