LLAP (Belgian premiere)
Yao Chung-Han, a pioneer of light art and Taiwanese sound art, is obsessed and disturbed by fluorescent light. In his installation named LLAP, he uses it to explore the differences between digital and analog signals, while evoking a vision of a three-dimensional object.

Yao-Chung Han
Yao Chung-Han graduated with a Masters in Media Arts at the NTUA (National Taiwan University of Arts). He solicits the imagination of the public through their bodily movements, depending on the arrangement of the fluorescent light. A few sounds go with his works.
Yao received the first prize in the “Digital Art Festival” from Taipei. As a pioneer of light art and Taiwanese sound art, he often presents his works in international exhibitions and has been invited to renowned art events around the world, such as “Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale”, “NTT ICC -Catastrophe! 014 “and “Steim-Massive Lumière Boner”.
Yao is a professional artist and teaches at NTUA and UCS (Soochow University) as an assistant instructor.
