Concert in the center
To conclude in a relaxed way, good to create meetings, City Sonic invest the nerve center of Mons festive life to set its turntables and introduce some artists « creators of atmosphere ».
Several DJs (DJ Poncho-hybrid mix, Taos-dubstep, Dimitri Pike-Detroit techno) will follow one another and fill the space with their finest vibrations.
AV Performance - Le Grand Large (Création)
For the closing of the visual arts exhibition Le Grand Large – Territory of Thought (organised by Bruno Robbe editions and Daniel Dutrieux), Jean DL (experimental guitar) & Sandrine Verstraete (tsonic treatments) present a performance that will mix music and video echoing with flags and prints presented in this exhibition.
Following on from the Robbe et Dutrieux editions, the Magasin de Papier gallery presents a series of original lithographs and videos all translating the vision of 24 Belgian and international artists. Complementing these are 300 flags, deployed throughout the city, as well as at its marina, the Grand Large, continuing the dialogue on the theme of transience.
A new generation of completely liberated artists is set to come hurtling into Mons! Their mission is to touch every square, every street, every cul-de-sac and all the places at the nerve centre of the European Capital of Culture.
