Les espaces Cyclophones (creation)
The Cyclophones spaces are a series of installations to pedal, which determines a fun and participative space of mechanical and sound discoveries.
The Cyclophones offer the public the chance to try a technique of sonic creation and share a moment of conviviality.

Les Cyclodynamos (création)
The Cyclodynamos are from the family of Cyclophones. They are equipped with an electro-acoustic device and available for the public through the various City Sonic exhibition routes.
The biker can thus compose alone or in group, with his own roving sound universe.

In continuation of Clyclodynamos, bikes will be available at Café Europa. François Cys will also include a participatory workshop to reproduce this sound device directly on the bike of participants.

François Cys
François Cys studies and works in the cabinetmaker trade. He undertakes object fashion design in which he explores through the transformation of everyday objects, relations between body movement, physical energy, mechanical movements and acoustic phenomena.
This quest leads to a plastic research enhancing the aesthetics of the object and calling into question its original function. It is not only a reflection on recycling, but also a need to build with the means at hand.
His meeting with artist Eric Van Osselaer (also regular guest Sonic City) gives birth to a new association called Evolplay. Turned towards an interactive approach of multi-sensory discoveries, their respective works and discussions are combined. François Cys is also involved in other projects and collaborations.
He can therefore be seen on stage as a bath-artist within the poetico-musical training “dame dame tambourine” in theatrical scenography as a builder inventor and contributes to actions of the group “nous sommes tous de passage” (“we are all just passing“).
