Quasi una fantasia (Be/At)

Christina Van Peteghem is a lyrical singer and self-taught musician who learned from her father, who was an opera singer. Influenced by Meredith Monk, she has experimented and improvised with her soprano voice for some years in the group Dizorkestra / Back to Normal (with composer/musician Baudouin de Jaer).

Pierre-Jean Vranken (Be)studied musicology, composition in electro-acoustic music and musical analysis with Brian Ferneyhough and Franco Donatoni. Influenced by rock and contemporary music, he is also in the movement of “minimalism” Morton Feldman.
