Concert
Under the pseudonym of aMute lies the musical project of Jérôme Deuson. In more than ten years of career, seven albums and many musical mutations, a companionship has been woven between Transcultures and the different incarnations of the project. Sometimes compared to musicians such as Fennesz or Tim Hecker, aMute escapes any attempt at easy classification, developing a color palette that is more vibrant, more moving, less monolithic, and more accessible than his forefathers. AMute embodies a symbiosis between contemplative electronic music, pop melodies, and abrasive passages looking towards post rock and shoegazing.
Currently, Jérôme Deuson works closely with Thècle Joussaud, a talented cellist who punctuates the group’s haunting post-rock.
