Conference / Listening-shares | Introduction to the sound arts

Since the 2013 edition of the City Sonic festival, the “Listening-shares” are meetings with music lover personalities (musicians, critics, artists, cultural leaders…) who, for about an hour, share their passion on themes related with sound practices illustrated by commented audio excerpts.

Philippe Franck will give an introduction to diversity (of forms, aesthetics, approaches…) of the sound arts with historical reminders as well as recent examples, many of which were presented in the City Sonic festival he initiated in 2003.
