Launched in 2016, C2L3Play is an Interreg project whose objective is to set up a network of crossborder living labs, in existing physical structures, in the three regions, in corrolation to the theme: ‘digital creativity’. The project proposes to transcend borders and proposes exchanges between artists and researchers, as well as to set up projects linked to companies from other regions with more ease, etc …. The concept of synergy with the aim of generating energy for the development of cultural and creative industries is all the more important in a relatively small territory. The ‘C2L3Play’ project is aimed primarily at cultural and creative industries, which is a strategic sector in Wallonia (Creative Wallonia program) as well as in France (digital images and cultural industries as a strategic area of activity in Nord-Pas de Calais), and in Flanders (with the design sector). The ‘Crossborder living lab’ resulting from this crossborder project brings partners of the University of Mons (leader of the project) together with Numediart Research Institute, Designregio Kortrijk, Le Fresnoy (Tourcoing), University of Valenciennes and Hainaut Cambrésis, SAEML Le Phénix (Valenciennes), University of Lille 3, PICTANOVO, Mundaneum (Mons), Audiovisual Meetings (Lille), Lille Design, Hainaut Ports Community, Game IN, TWIST Cluster, Transcultures (Charleroi), Buda Fabriek / AGB Bud (Kortrijk).

On the sidelines of Raymond Delepierre’s sound installation (X BELL X-1), Unfulfilleduo offers a performance based on the retroactive sound space, variations around feedback, increased / extended acoustics / Modified / generated by the architectural shapes and surfaces of this portion of the quai de la Sambre. They will reveal to the ears a history of archeology of the moment, the different sounds buried, the traces of the past, their harmonies. The megaphones were produced in the USA (N.Y.), Norway, France, Belgium, Germany, UK, Bulgaria, USSR, Japan. They have served in multiple military (USA), cultural, political and social events. They have spread the voices of world leaders, civil society people, music and songs of revolt and joy, speeches of peace, hatred and memory. All the diffusers are fixed to the facade of Quai 10.

Raymond Delepierre (Be)
Raymond Delepierre (Brussels) has fostered a great curiosity about material of sound, his physical representation in an autonomous body, and his involvement in fields are as diverse as the performing arts, architecture, urban environment, research science, and visual arts. Keeper of the imaginary, he regularly questions the implication of the perception that each one of us has to face sound—this invisible and unthought medium.
Paul Boudeau (Be)
French musician, Marcel Ormittal (aka Paul Boudeau) lives and works in Brussels. He is active as a sound experimenter exploring all kind of artistic experiments using sound and/or visuals, (sound-installations, musique concrète & live electronics improvisations).
