Motorblues (Belgian premiere)

Motorblues is a sound installation consisting of an electric guitar, two modified fans, two microphone stands and an amplifier. The guitar is positioned horizontally, a little above the ground while the fan motors are in the opposite direction, on the ground. The two pieces of the microphone stand, slide (swinging) slightly over the strings of the guitar, like a “bottleneck” of blues guitar. So the harmonies change in a very subtle way continually.

Production: Andreas Trobollowitsch with the support of Transcultures.
