This duet – that of daniel duchamP, creator of raw, electronic and mutant sound matrices and Karine Germaix, accordionist who puts her classical mastery at the service of an experimental approach of her instrument – playing together for the first time in an improvisational framework, is very likely to be a (super) soniK shock , a tandem techno-acoustiK …. and beyond.

Biography

After obtaining a first conservatory prize and having attended contemporary music lessons with masters of the accordion (Pascal Contet, Semyonov, Geier Draugsvoll, Frode Halti…), Karine Germaix combines an excellent classical technical mastery with an approach singular of her instrument. She scratches it, hits it, shakes it, saturates it, highlights its sound peculiarities and extracts original, eclectic, fascinating and fascinating sounds.
