Biography

Todor Todoroff is a civil engineer in telecommunications and obtained a First Prize and a Higher Diploma in Electroacoustic Composition at the Conservatories of Brussels and Mons. President and a founding member of FeBeME and ARTeM, he has been developing interactive systems for twenty years using a wide variety of sensors. He is particularly interested in the management of sound space and the exploration of new methods of sound transformation. Passionate about dialogue with other artistic forms, he composes for video, theater, contemporary dance, notably with Michèle Noiret, and for installations, notably in collaboration with Marie-Jo Lafontaine, FOAM, Fred Vaillant, Mario Benjamin and Laura Colmenares Guerra. Several times laureate of international competitions, he received commissions notably from the Paris Opera, Ars Musica, Festivaal van Vlaanderen…
