Roald Baudoux (Be)

One –Roald Baudoux– is from the acousmatic movement and co-founded the duo, Dark Fader, the other –Hugues Peeters– has toured for many years as a keyboardist for rock, post-punk or electro-industrial groups. In the duo Tympocaïne 200, they perform free improvisations in which they explore a universe between synthetic sounds and sound recordings of the world manipulated in every way.

To give life to these sounds, they deploy around their computers multiple gesture control devices, some of which being homemade.
